Moving and Placing Actors UE5
So we are going back to our starting level and there are many objects around it. If you were to click on one it would have an orange box around it. This lets you know that is selected.
Everything that is an item that you can select is called an actor. The Outliner is every item in our level.
We want to add new items. In the toolbar at the top of the screen. There is a cube with + symbol and a drop-down. In that is a list of actors we can use.
We are going to go to shapes and cube, and bring a cube into the level, by dragging it into our scene.
The gizmo gives us the option to move our cube in every direction. We can change the gizmo to rotate, or scale. They can be accessed by W,E,R respectively.
